VOLUNTEER AT DELICIOUS ORCHARDS

You must be at least 13 years old to volunteer at Delicious Orchards. You must wear shoes which provide adequate support. No flip-flops are allowed.
- Arrive at the back platform of Delicious Orchards between 5 and 5:15 PM any day of the week except Monday (they
are closed on Monday).Volunteers are needed and appreciated every other evening of the week. - Students are not allowed on the back of the loading dock until a representative from the Barn arrives.
- Parents should not drop off their children and leave. The ending time is variable and you must be present when the work ends.
- Our truck arrives usually before 5:30PM. Help our driver to unload empty crates. If you arrive before the truck does, the large empty crates located on the dock can be used to begin loading food. Please replace them with empty ones once the truck arrives.
- Upon completion of loading and cleanup, present your sheet listing the date, time & place to our driver or other representative for signature.
- Be sure to follow any direction our driver or representative will give you.

VOLUNTEER AS A DRIVER

Drivers are usually asked to drive once a month. In order to qualify as a driver, you must have a good driving record. Our vehicles consist of a box truck and a pickup 
truck. You do not need a CDL license. A regular New Jersey license is sufficient. To qualify,
- Send a copy of your Driver’s License along with your date of birth to BarnForThePoor@gmail.com
- Within 2 weeks, you will receive an email notifying you whether you are accepted as a driver
